Gitarist ve bestekar Serdar Karatekin, 16 Aralık’ta kariyerinin ilk solo albümü olan Huzur’u yayınlayacak. 2 Aralık’ta yayınladığı Huzur klibiyle dikkatimizi çeken Serdar müziğinde gitar melodileri, bossa-nova ritimleri, Flamenko ve Latin-Jazz tınıları kullanıyor. Serdar Huzur’a giden yolunu şu sözlerle anlatıyor:
“After releasing my first album in 2012 with my band Capricho, I took some time to reflect on my life and what music means to me. I was thinking about how there are so many distractions in the outside world, and if we pay attention to them all, we can get lost. I realized that making music helps me find a place of balance inside me – a place where I can channel my emotions and make peace with all the variables life brings. I understood how important that was for me. I wrote “Huzur” during this time of introspection. This piece of music is about me finding that inner peace and inner strength that compels me to pursue music and use it to share everything that is in my heart. This release is a very big deal to me personally, because it is my first-ever release as a solo artist. “Huzur” is about me saying ‘yes’ to my on-going journey as a composer and guitarist and continuing to expose myself to new styles of music and new experiences so I can keep growing and expressing myself through my work.”
İstanbul’da büyüyen müzisyen, şehirden aldığı enerji ve Flamenco dilinden edindiği büyü ile müziğini harmanlamış ve ortaya bu “Huzur” veren parça çıkmış.
